Control en Outer Wilds komen op de tweede plaats
Net als The Game Awards een maand geleden, Hideo Kojima Death Stranding krijgt de meeste kansen om waardevolle vracht op zijn rug te stapelen tijdens de GDC Awards in maart. Bij The Game Awards nam het drie van de negen prijzen mee naar huis waarvoor het was genomineerd. Zal het beter gaan tijdens een show waar industriële makers op stemmen?
Gisteren leerden we over de finalisten van het Independent Games Festival, de eerste helft van de prijsuitreiking die uiteindelijk leidt tot de GDC Awards. Nu hebben we de genomineerden voor de hardware die naar de grootste namen in games gaat. Death Stranding heeft zeven nominaties, waaronder Game of the Year, Best Design en Best Narrative. Er zijn slechts 10 categorieën en Death Stranding is aanwezig in 70 procent van hen. Het wordt alleen weggelaten in Best Debut, Best Mobile Game en Best VR / AR Game - drie categorieën waarvoor het niet geschikt is.
De nieuwste van Kojima is controle en The Outer Wilds , elk vertegenwoordigd in vijf categorieën. Alle drie vormen het spel van het jaar, dat bestaat uit: controle , Death Stranding , The Outer Wilds , Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice en Goose Game zonder titel .
